Hello and welcome to my world of mosaic loveliness!

 

I'm Mel Russell and I design & make decorative mosaics & soldered pieces using recycled vintage china & glass. No two items are exactly the same. I sometimes incorporate vintage jewellery & other found fragments in my designs. I try to include the maker’s mark to show the china’s provenance and I enjoy adding quirky details such as tea cup handles.

 

My portfolio includes stag heads, birds, hares, hearts, stars, angels, fish, wall plaques, clocks & mirrors. My Christmas collection includes festive wreaths, robins, Dala Horses, hearts and lots of lovely hanging tree decorations made with china & glass.
